Diving from a charter, not a shop
The difference is the boat. A charter puts you on the site at slack water instead of when the day-boat schedule allows, carries the guides and the tanks, and moves overnight so the next site is outside in the morning.
- Two dives a day on a day charter, three on an overnight cruise.
- One guide per four to six guests on a luxury charter.
- Open Water is the minimum; Advanced is wanted for the Nusa Penida currents.
